Hello, I’m Alicia…

At A3 Creative Alterations, my goal is to make your special dress fit like a dream, and be comfortable for a memorable event, and beautiful photos. Whether simply adjusting the length of your gown, or redesigning necklines or straps, I love making dresses the best that they can be. I've been sewing bridal and special occasion since 2007, and I really love what I do.

I offer a boutique, one on one experience that can’t be matched. Clients have described their time with me as “wedding therapy,” and “the easiest part of the entire event planning.” Arrive as a client, leave as a friend.

I know how precious and special wedding dresses can be. That is why I take special care with each dress entrusted to me. Thank you for allowing me to live my passion.

**Allergy advisement: please be aware that I work out of my home where a cat, and two guinea pigs also reside. My sewing room is a clean room where no pets or kids are allowed, and our home is professionally cleaned. I am meticulous about pet hair, but if you have an allergy, please let me know.

Here’s how it works:

Bridal Consultation

OPTIONAL
This fitting is an option for brides who would like a consultation before jumping into the process. This fitting is client led. You can try on your dress if you wish, and I will give you my opinion for alterations and cost. Often these appointments are used for discussing redesigns, and plans for updating vintage dresses.
First Fitting

When your arrive for your first fitting, you will try on your dress with the correct undergarments and shoes. I will double check fit and talk you through options and pricing as I pin. We will schedule your next appointment before you depart.
Friends and family members are welcome at any fitting appointment.
Second Fitting

Some dresses require a second fit to double check alterations in process. Please bring undergarments and shoes.
Final Fitting

At this fitting, you will once again try on your dress with correct undergarments and shoes. We will double check every part of the dress for fit and comfort. If you have a bustle for your train, we will practice putting it up and we will take a video for future reference. If the dress fits like a dream, the dress is ready to go home with you. ♥

When should I book?

For wedding gowns, please book your first fitting 8-12 weeks before the wedding date. Wedding dresses run a 4-6 week turnaround. Appointments are limited, so please book early!

Bridesmaids dresses, special occasion dresses, and flower girl dresses run a 2-3 week turnaround.

Rush turnarounds (anything under 2 weeks) are available for an additional cost depending on my availability.
